Located within a completely restored 19th-century building, So Cool Hostel Porto offers modern, private and shared accommodation in one of the most central avenues of Porto, Avenida da Boavista. Free WiFi access is included.

Featuring high ceilings with stucco works, rooms are bright and airy. They all include lockers, individual reading lights and have key card access. Bathroom facilities are shared.

Loved Porto
very convenient to the Metro and not a long way from the old town.
The common area, which was also the kitchen and dining area, closed down at 10:30pm and after that there was no place to hang out except in your own room. The womens toilet/shower room was upstairs from my room and there was only 2 of each.

Pleasant stay
location, the staff, the kitchen area and the yard, how clean it was, the bathroom and shower area were very neat
I would get tall shelves for the rooms, the bottom area can have the outlets and "space" for the person in the lower bed. The top area can have the outlets and "space" for the person in the top bed. It also provides a visual barrier and a sense of home away from home since one can put personal items and other things very close. Other than that, the facilities are good.

Very Good
Close to metro station, friendly and helpful staff, our room was big and a bit quirky, and it had a good shower. Breakfast was basic but enough to get you going. Good value for money.
Nothing, hostel met our needs.
